Field Notes
What This Is Becoming
A first field note about making room for paintings, poems, memories, and thoughts that are still becoming.
Whether we get visitors or not, I’m beginning to think this page is becoming something interesting.
I did not want WilliamstonArt to be only a sign pointing toward a shop. I wanted the background to matter: the memory behind a painting, the thought that has not yet become a poem, the question I am still carrying.
This week, that meant making room for more. New paintings. New poems. A daily puzzle. A place for gratitude, and for the thoughts of anyone who stops long enough to leave one.
I do not know what all of it will become. Maybe that is part of the point. Not everything has to arrive finished. Sometimes the honest thing is simply to notice what is here now—and begin.
